CVAA opens its membership to ALL nurses registered with their provincial governing body!
We are a national association with representation in each Canadian province and the Territories. Our membership has also extended to the United States, United Kingdom, Bermuda and other parts of Europe.
CERTIFIED: a CVAA member who has successfully completed the written examinations of the Canadian Vascular Access Association. (Click here for Certification Applications. Click Here for Regulations)
ACTIVE: Any registered nurse who is actively engaged in Intravenous Therapy in either a full-time or part-time capacity, or those registered nurses who are engaged in a supervisory, educational, administrative or general staff position.
ASSOCIATE: Any individual engaged in an occupation related to Intravenous Therapy but who is not eligible for Active membership.
To become a member,

- Simply print off our Membership Form (2012) and send it along with a cheque or money order (must accompany the membership application).

Fees include the semi-annual CVAA Journal, Mainliner (e-newsletter), on-line access to the Enabler when available, eligibility to complete the certification exam, reduced fees at the annual conference and travelling lecture series, and many other benefits.
